BBI MEETING QUESTIONED
On Sunday, the Deputy President made claims that the Building Bridges Initiative meeting organised on the 10th of January in Kisii county was a political reformation plan for the ODM party towards the approaching 2022 general elections. He also questioned the use of public funding to the BBI campaign. He further pushed for the respect of the rule of law and in particular, court orders, by all public servants since nobody is above the law. These was based on the arrest of the Gatundu South member of parliament Hon.Moses Kuria who had spent part of the weekend in Kilimani police station after officers claimed of respecting the authorities from above even after an issue of a court order demanding the release of the parliamentarian on bond.William Ruto was speaking at different events in Narok and uasin gishu where he was in company of the leaders who align themselves to the TangaTanga team of the Jubilee party.
Similar allegations(about the BBI meeting and campaign) have been made by the Amani National Congress party leader,Musalia Mudavadi, with his Ford Kenya counterpart,Moses Wetangula. Speaking at an event in Molo in Nakuru county, they urged the leaders claiming to be campaigning for the BBI to focus on uniting all Kenyans and not creating divisions since there is nobody opposing the BBI report since the report was primarily prepared to see a united Kenya. The latter called for leaders who thought of benefiting politically from the BBI report's campaigns to put aside their greed and concentrate on the general benefit of the report to the citizens
is william Ruto and musalia mudavadi having a common goal in 2022?
